Diane Flayhart is a Director of Global Public Health at BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Co.). She drives global policy and advocacy efforts to improve diagnostic and antibiotic stewardship through global public health initiatives. She works with global stakeholders in a collaborative and programmatic approach to strengthen health systems. She also leads efforts for the Antimicrobial Resistance Fighter Coalition, a global organization that seeks to increase awareness of drug-resistant infections and encourage action. Prior to joining BD, Diane managed the clinical microbiology laboratory at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
