Liana Petrosova is a health policy professional with experience in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and pharmaceutical regulation. In her role as Regulatory Policy Manager at Medicines for Europe, Liana works on policy initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable access to critical medicines while addressing the growing threat of AMR. Her focus is on the EU health policy, working closely with both the European Commission as well as the national governments in Europe to ensure that access to antibiotics is secured with a special focus on encouraging responsible manufacturing practices. She collaborates with stakeholders to shape policies that balance regulatory requirements with the needs of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly focusing on the availability and responsible use of antibiotics.
Liana holds an MSc in Governance and Leadership in European Public Health from Maastricht University, where she developed a strong foundation in health policy analysis and public health strategies.
