Axel Faupel is Head of Sustainability for Fresenius Kabi and Head of Group Sustainability Strategy for Fresenius, where he leads global sustainability initiatives across the company’s healthcare operations. He has deep expertise in corporate sustainability strategy, with a focus on climate and water impact reduction, environmental and resource efficiency, and evolving regulatory requirements. Before joining Fresenius, he spent almost nine years in PwC’s sustainability practice, advising clients in the chemical and healthcare sector on sustainability transformation and assurance.
Axel represents Fresenius Kabi and the Fresenius Group in industry collaborations and contributes to cross‑sector efforts to advance environmental performance and resilience in the healthcare ecosystem.
