Riccardo Rubini is a health policy professional with experience in manufacturing, supply chain and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). In his role as policy manager at Medicines for Europe, Riccardo works on policy initiatives aimed at ensuring availability of medicines while addressing the growing threat of AMR.
His focus is on the EU health policy, working closely with both the European institutions to ensure that access to antibiotics is secured with a special focus on encouraging responsible manufacturing practices. He is the Medicines for Europe lead of the Manufacturing & Supply Chain committee, where he works on ensuring continuity of supply of medicinal products.
Riccardo previously worked in two other leading healthcare associations in Brussels, and he holds a master’s degree in European policies.
