Vanina Laurent-Ledru serves as Chief Public Health & Government Affairs Officer at Institut Mérieux and bioMérieux, where she works to amplify the public health impact of innovation across prevention, diagnostics, and food safety.

A law graduate with professional experience across Europe and the United States, she has worked at the intersection of public policy, industry transformation, and philanthropy, shaped by senior leadership roles in global healthcare and international partnerships—including positions at Sanofi, Merck/MSD, and earlier at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.   Until November 2025, she was Director General of Foundation S, Sanofi’s philanthropic think-and-do tank, dedicated to advancing access to care initiatives.

She has taught at Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs and completed INSEAD’s “Sustainability Leadership” program in 2025.
