Webinar: World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2022

The AMR Industry Alliance hosted a webinar during World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) to discuss key collaborative approaches that are helping to achieve responsible and equitable access to antimicrobials. Panelists addressed promising new strategies for addressing access in low- and middle-income countries, recommendations from a new report on ensuring a sustainable supply of antimicrobials, and the role of diagnostics in the appropriate use of antibiotics. The Alliance also announced the winners of its 2022 Stewardship Prize, which rewards a best practice in responsible access through coordinated, proven and implementable stewardship practice and protocols.
